On 10th October 2024, the Nila Foundation organized a pivotal event titled “Mind U – Our Mind, Our Right” at the Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK), Karyavattom. The initiative aimed to spotlight the importance of mental health as a fundamental human right and provide crucial academic support for mental well-being.

A key highlight of the event was an engaging workshop led by Mrs. Saleena Beevi S, Founder Director of the Nila Foundation. The workshop, titled “Mind U – Our Mind, Our Right,” offered powerful insights into the significance of mental health advocacy, urging participants to view emotional well-being as a universal right. Mrs. Saleeba Beevi encouraged students to prioritize mental wellness, fostering a deep understanding of its role in achieving overall success.
The event also featured a special appearance by Mr. Anandhu Nedumangad, Unity Coordinator at Nila Foundation, whose presence underscored the importance of collective efforts in raising awareness for mental health.
In closing, Dilshad K, Project Coordinator at Nila School of Happiness, expressed gratitude to all participants and contributors in a vote of thanks, reiterating the program’s commitment to creating a supportive space for mental well-being.
